Deposit, Booking & Cancellation Policy
Scotland Landscaping and Fencing
1. Definitions
“Company” refers to Scotland Landscaping and Fencing.
“Client” refers to any individual or organisation booking services from the Company.
“Deposit” refers to the initial payment required to secure a booking.
“Services” refers to all landscaping, fencing, groundwork, and related work provided by the Company.

2. Booking and Deposit Requirement
All bookings with Scotland Landscaping and Fencing require a 25% deposit of the total quoted price.
No booking is confirmed, and no dates are reserved, until the deposit has been received and cleared.

 

3. Cooling-Off Period
Clients have a 14-day cooling-off period starting from the date the deposit is paid.
If the Client cancels the booking within 14 calendar days of paying the deposit, the deposit will be refunded in full.

 

 4. Non-Refundable Deposit After 14 Days
After the 14-day cooling-off period has expired, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
This is due to time being reserved, work being declined, and planning and preparation undertaken for the Client’s project.
By proceeding beyond the 14-day period, the Client agrees that the deposit is forfeited in the event of cancellation for any reason.

 

5. Cancellation by the Client
If the Client cancels the booking after the 14-day cooling-off period, the deposit will not be refunded.
Any additional costs incurred by the Company prior to cancellation may be invoiced separately where applicable.

 

6. Cancellation by the Company
If the Company is unable to carry out the Services due to circumstances within its control, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.
The Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses.

 

7. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms apply to all bookings, whether made online, by phone, or in person.

 

8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
